FAQs
How often should I visit the dentist?
It is generally recommended to visit the dentist every six months for a routine check-up and cleaning. However, depending on your specific oral health needs, Dr. Imam may suggest a different schedule.
How can I improve my oral hygiene routine?
To enhance your oral hygiene routine, ensure you brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, floss daily, use mouthwash, limit sugary and acidic foods, and stay hydrated. Regularly replace your toothbrush and maintain bi-annual dental visits.
Are tooth-colored fillings as durable as traditional fillings?
Yes, tooth-colored fillings made from composite resins are durable and provide excellent protection. They are designed to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth and can last many years with proper care.
Why is oral cancer screening important?
Oral cancer screening is vital because it can detect early signs of cancer, allowing for prompt treatment and better outcomes. Regular screenings as part of your dental check-up can help safeguard your health.
What can I do to alleviate dental anxiety?

How can dental bridges improve my oral health?

We offer three kinds of sedation to cater to patients with a variety of needs:
Light: For patients who have mild sensitivity to dental work or struggle with feeling nervous, we can help you relax using nitrous oxide. Laughing gas leaves you awake but feeling calm.
Medium: Patients who need something a little deeper to help them manage more serious dental anxiety can benefit from oral conscious sedation. Oral sedation involves taking a pill before an appointment, and it can make patients drowsy and relaxed.
Deep: If a patient’s anxiety is especially acute, we will offer IV sedation. While this type of sedation leaves the patient conscious, they often fall asleep because they are so relaxed.

Cosmetic dentistry is generally safe, but as with any medical procedure, there are some risks. Our team thoroughly evaluates your oral health and discusses any potential risks and benefits before proceeding with any treatments.
